An effort to post something…

2008

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been posting some of my usual features this week. I'm actually feeling pretty awful, and have been this way for a couple of days. Some kind of head cold or something is really knocking my down, even to the point where I'm not always sure that what I'm saying/typing is totally making any sense. I found myself typing and re-typing sentences today while finishing up the Sunday bulletin because I was feeling loopy. So, anyways, if you're looking for the usual content, it's not here, but I hope to make up the difference as soon as I'm feeling better.

I you wouldn't mind, my wife and I are in the running to win dinner out on the town from Generation NeXt Parenting, and you can help us win. It's really simple.

1. Go to this blog entry here, and read a short little story about how my wife and I first got together.

2. Leave a comment on the post as your vote.

That's it. Last we checked, we were still ahead by 2 comments, but that could rapidly change. Thanks in advance for your vote.

Don't forget to also enter my own contest to win the coveted, ghetto-style iLamp. Just click the banner in the top left corner of my blog, and follow the directions to enter.

Be back with you as soon as my head clears!

Yeah man, I'm pretty excited about it. I've been really busy this week, I was hoping to get started on this earlier in the week. But yeah, this is going to be a cool thing.

I'm thinking maybe starting in James. I feel like the book of James is so authoritative and just incredible, yet there is so much to learn in the book of James. What do you think? Any input? Thoughts? Advice?

Be blessed man!

@Kyle: I think you're right on with the method. It may need to be tweaked over time, but I really don't see at this point how it could be improved upon. Just know that it's going to start slow, maybe only the two of us, but in time it will grow.

James sounds like a good place to start to me.
