Let us worship with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.

Ever have one of those days where something going wrong, that could have potentially ruined you entire day, actually turned out for the better? Yesterday was one of those days.
My wife's been out of town since Wednesday, and I'll admit something every married man knows to be true. I'm a much better person all around because of my wife. Case in point, I'm not a morning person at all. To this day, I still have a hard time waking up and getting moving in the morning. On Sundays, my wife is usually up before me, and is getting ready. She is also always there if something happens like me not remembering to set my alarm properly.
Well, yesterday was one of those days I wish she had been there. My alarm also has one of those noise machines built in, and will stop generating said noise when the alarm goes off. About the time I'm usually hitting the church building on Sunday morning, I suddenly wake up. My noise machine is still running because no alarm has gone off.
Now, to my credit, I checked and the alarm was set properly, so I'm at a loss as to what happened. Needless to say, I went into super speed and got the kids ready, ironed everyone's clothes, took a VERY quick shower, and was at the chuch building only about 15 minutes later than usual. Don't ask me how I did it, because I really don't know.
Thankfully, there are breakfast pastries and stuff for the kids to eat on Sunday morning, so it helped we could skip breakfast at home. I'm not advocating doing this every Sunday, but something about being late got a fire going in me, and I was done with setup and prep faster than usual. Go figure.
I was very tired during the afternoon, so a nap was very welcome. Here's the list.
This is also part of Sunday Setlists.

A man who irons his kids clothes on Sunday morning? Wow. You're a better mom than me!
