I've been resisting in part for what you just had to go through! We're also having problems with finding musicians... we did not a have our bassist this past Sunday (which meant we had no bass) and our drummer doesn't really want to drum anymore... but he is holding out for us! Between times of losing guitarists, or even just having weeks where even a few musicians were out of town, or losing quite a few choir members over a short period... it's never fun, you miss them church/ministry family-wise, and miss how much their own gifts add to the church/ministry as well.
