One of my favorite "new" bands to listen to is The Myriad. I had not heard much from them before seeing them open during Crowder's Remedy club tour in October of last year at House of Blues. Since those days, they've become a staple on the local Christian rock station (PowerFM), and went on to [...]

Become a Better Reader

25, Nov 2008

I was asked recently how I can read so many books—I read A LOT! Part of my flippant reply was, "Some guy do sports/watch sports or hunt and other things, I read. Constantly. I don't sleep much either…" Getting a Kindle recently has also helped me read a lot more faster.

I've had my Kindle for over a month now, and I promised another post about my experiences with it
After starting this post up, I saw that it was getting more wordy than I'm in the mood for, and probably more wordy than you will all read, so I'm starting over.
Long story short, I absolutely love [...]

Symbolic Worship

19, Nov 2008

I might step on some toes here. Thankfully, this is a problem I seem to hear less about as the big "C" Church moves away from American traditionalism and focuses more on relationship with God and others.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard, heard about, or been a part of a conversation where [...]
