I'm sitting here today and wondering what my life would look like without limits. How would I be different? My family? My church? My ministry? My community?

I'm not talking about physical/mental limits, like skills or talent. I'm certainly not talking about the boundaries God has placed on our lives for our own good and for His glory.

What if the limits I've placed on myself were all removed? Those limits I've put there to make me more palatable to those around me. Limitations I've put in place to keep from getting hurt, or being rejected, or looking strange to someone else.

From simple things like, "What if I painted my office the way I really want to paint it rather than this nice, safe color?" To greater things like, "What if I just went ahead and took that risk I've been holding off on because I'm afraid of rejection, reputation, comfort, stability, etc.?"

It might be time to push some boundaries…
