Let us worship with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.
Yesterday we observed the Lord's Supper, and we had an "open mic" time to let people share their stories. A man stood and began to speak. His accent was a little thick and hard to understand at first.
Turns out he was a pastor from Paraguay. He shared the story of a time when they were ministering by providing clothes and other essentials to those in need. A little boy came up and said, "Do you have a shirt for my Papa?" I guess there was not one available because the pastor told the boy, "You come back tomorrow and I will have a shirt and pants for your Papa."
The next day, the shirt and pants were handed over, and now a few years later, eight out of ten people in that household have accepted Christ as their Savior.
All because of giving away a used shirt and pair of pants.
Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. Matthew 10:40-42

Thank you for share "It Does Take Much". Now that is worship in action. I wish more of our church member in the USA would grab a hold of this idea. Thanks again.
